6/3/09: Widgetal Media announces the MiCasa Home Automation iPhone Application

     

MiCasa connects to a home automation gateway and allows for remote control of all switches, outlets, dimmers, & Venstar Thermostats on an Insteon home network.  Once configured with server information, MiCasa automatically configures itself and learns what things are available for it to control. No additional PC setup, expensive customized configurations, or additional software is required! The home automation gateways supported by the current release are the SimpleHomeNet EZSrve (EZServe) and EZBridge home automation gateways. MiCasa supports most insteon switches, dimmers, appliance modules, and Venstar thermostats. MiCasa does not currently support X10 devices, I/O controllers, or sprinkler controllers.
